Wonton Noodles are also known as Wonton Mee (云吞面) is a typical dish in Asian country especially in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Wonton noodles can be served dry or with soup, it depends on the personal favorite. Wonton noodles are made of egg noodles. You can get this dish from Kopitiam (Chinese authentic coffee shop) or the roadside hawker stalls. The noodles are great with pickled green chilies. They are an essential condiment to the dish and easy to make. Besides, wonton noodles also can be topped with crispy fried shallots – this will make the noodles more aromatic. In Malaysia, Char Siu and Wanton is the best combination of Wonton noodles. Let’s make it!

Broth for Wonton Soup

Normally, I cook a big bowl of wonton soup by using the chicken stock cubes (the brand I’m using is Knorr). Besides, I will also add some garnish spring onion to increase the aromatic of the soup.
