Turmeric is known as a strong antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps to improve and overcome depression. In this recipe, I also add some curry powder to further enhance the flavor of the fried fish.

- 3 medium size Black Pomfret
- 4 – 5 slices Ginger
Seosoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 10 gram Turmeric Powder
- 10 gram Curry Powder
- 3 tbsp Cooking Oil
How to pan-fry Black Pomfret with Turmeric and Curry Powder?
- Marinate fish with salt, turmeric and curry powder. Put it in the fridge for 1 hour.
- Heat up oil in a wok or pan. Put in the sliced ginger. Stir-fry until it is fragrant and then drain it out.
- Fry the fish for about 4-10 minutes (depending on the size of the fish), or until its surface turns golden brown.
- Lift the fish out from wok or pan and drain the remaining oil before serving.
