How to Roast the Cashew Nuts?

  1. Wash and drain the raw cashew nuts. Add 1/2 tsp salt. Mix well.
  2. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Line a baking parchment paper and spread the cashews in a single layer.
  3. Roast in the oven for 7.5 minutes.
  4. Take the tray out and mix well to turn the sides.
  5. Return to the oven and roast for another 7.5 minutes or until the surface of the cashews turn to golden brown color.
  6. Remove the sheet from the oven, by now the nuts will not be very crispy, be allow them to cool completely and they will be very crispy. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
