Follow these steps for making spring roll wrappers:

Making Batter for Spring Roll Sheets

Step 1: Take 1 cup all-purpose flour, 3 tbsp. corn starch, and 1/4 tsp salt in a bowl.

Step 2: Mix these ingredients with a wired whisk or a spoon.

Step 3: After that, add 1 1/3 cups of water and whisk well to get a smooth and slightly thin batter (flowing consistency) without any lumps. You can add less or more water depending on the quality of the flour.

Step 1: Now heat a nonstick/cast iron/steel pan on a low flame and let it slightly hot but not too hot. Grease the pan – for the nonstick pan, you can skip the oil.

Step 2: Now lift the pan and add 2 tbsp. of the batter to the pan. Gently, spread the spoon clockwise to make a small pancake. If the batter becomes thick while preparing the wrappers, you can add 1 – 2 tbsp. more water.

Advice: The wrappers should be thin. Thick wrappers break easily while rolling and sealing.

Step 3: Now cook the spring roll wrappers on a low flame till wrappers become translucent and the sides start curling up. Just cook one side.

Step 4: Lift the spring roll wrapper with a spatula and place them in a tray or plate with the cooked side facing you. Once they come to room temperature, you can store them or start making the spring rolls.
