How to cook Sambal stink beans with prawns?

  • Prepare the prawns by peeling off the head and shell and wash them.
  • Peel the stink beans out of the outer shell and remove the skin (in beige color). Cut each stink bean into half.
  • Cut the ginger and onion into slices. Chop the garlic and small onion until finely minced.
  • Heat a wok with 2 tbsp of oil over medium heat. Once the wok is hot, add the ginger, garlic, and small onion. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Add 1 tbsp oil and dried prawns. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until the aroma comes out. Add Sambal and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add 2 tbsp water, oyster sauce, and sugar. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
  • Add the prawns and stir-fry. Add the stink beans after the prawns change color. Stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add onion and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add some salt for favor.
  • Done and serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Stink Beans approximate 6 pods
  • 6 Prawns medium size
  • 15 gram Dried Prawn
  • 5 slices Ginger
  • 10 gram Garlic minced chop
  • 1 Onion medium size (cut in slices)
  • 3 Small Onion minced chop
  • 1 pack Sambal Manggi brand Sambal Tumis

Seasoning Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Water
