Green Dragon Vegetable also known as Qing Long Cai (青龙菜) or Royale Chives. Green Dragon Vegetable is originate from Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. It is light green in colour, looks like leeks and it tastes similar to leeks or green garlic, but the smell is lighter. Green Dragon Vegetable is a quite expensive vegetables in Malaysia.

Recipe Ingredients:

The recipe calls for:

  • Green Dragon Vegetable
  • Ginger
  • Prawns
  • Garlic
  • Oil
  • Water

Green Dragon Vegetable with Prawn Recipe:

  • Cut the Green Dragon Vegetables into 2 parts.
  • Heat the oil in a wok, then add the ginger and garlic, stir fry until fragrant. Add prawns and stir fry until the prawns colour change to orange. Add green dragon vegetable and add some water, stir fry. When the green dragon vegetable is tender and vibrant green, add salt and shaoxing wine before turn off the stove.
