- 3 Eggs
- 1 medium/large Onion
Seasoning
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
How to Cook Fried Eggs with Onions?
- Cut the onion in half and cut it into thin slices.
Tips on cutting onions: You may soak the peeled onion in the water for around 15 minutes, this can prevent watery eyes when you cut the onion.
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and add in the seasoning (1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp white pepper and 1/4 tsp salt).
- Beat the eggs. Set aside.
- Heat the wok/pan with 1 tbsp cooking oil.
- Put the slices onion in the wok/pan and fry it under medium high heat for around 2 minutes. Put 1/4 tsp of salt to soften the onions and enhance it taste.
- Put the fried onion to the eggs mixture. Mix well.
- Put the onions and egg mixture back to the wok/pan. Fry around 90 seconds by using the medium low heat.
- Flip to another side and fry another 90 seconds by using the medium low heat.
