Roasted Almonds
Roasted Almonds (烤杏仁) is a simple and quick-to-make snack. The almond nuts can be roasted in the oven or on the stove. In this recipe, raw almonds are mixed with salt water, cooking oil/coconut oil, and roasted to crispy perfection.

- 200 gram Raw Almonds
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Cooking Oil you may use coconut oil
Wash and drain the raw almonds.
Put in 1 tbsp salt in 250ml water. Stir it.
Put the almonds in the salt water and soak for 5 minutes.
Pat almonds dry with a paper towel.
Line a foil on the tray and put the almonds on it.
Roast the almonds in a preheat oven at 300°F for 10 minutes.
Put 1 tbsp of cooking/coconut oil to the almonds and mix it evenly.
Put some salt on top of the almonds.
Return the tray to the oven and roast for another 10 – 15 minutes until they become crispy.
Done. Keep the roasted almonds in air-tight container after cool down.
