Roasted Potatoes

Roasted Potatoes is a delicious side dish to serve and it is very easy to make. Roasted potatoes always pair well with lamb, chicken, beef, pork, and fish dishes, they are definitely one of the best vegetables ever! Roasted potatoes are best to season with dried herbs, eg. oregano, thymes, and black pepper. What do the roasted potatoes taste likes? Roasted potatoes are crispy on the outside and taste buttery and fluffy on the inside.

  • 600 gram potatoes
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  • Wash the potatoes gently. (Don't remove its skin)
  • Drain the potatoes and cut it into half.
  • Prepare a large bowl with cold water and soak the potatoes for 30 minutes to remove the starch.
  • Drain the potatoes.
  • Add in dried herbs seasoning and olive oil.
  • Mix it.
  • Preheat the oven to 230°C for 15 minutes.
  • Put a piece of parchment paper on the tray and place the seasoning potatoes on the tray evenly.
  • Roast the potatoes for 20 minutes in the oven.
  • Turn them over using a spatula or a pair of tongs. Roast for another 20 minutes, depending how brown and crispy you like them to be.
  • Done and serve immediately!
